What is Talent Boat Agency (TBA) all about? Talent Boat is a registered agency in Nigeria committed to recruiting, hiring, promoting, and procuring jobs for its employees/members worldwide. We also help companies and individuals to find the right talent for their events, programmes, and promotions.
We promote talents and help members secure the right job within and outside Nigeria. All members are to pay a commission on any job TBA secures, excluding the initial contract agreement with any member.
How legit is the Talent Boat Agency? TBA is 100% legit and safe with a physical office address.
Where is the Talent Boat Agency located? TBA has its operational office located in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, while recruiting in several parts of the country.
If I am not in Anambra or Nigeria, am I eligible to apply? Yes. Irrespective of your age, location, tribe, or religion, only African people with the following skills are eligible to apply.
Who is eligible to apply to TBA? TBA accepts both males and females with different talents irrespective of their African Nationality. We accept the following talents: Models, Event Ushers, Dancers, DJs, Comedians /MCs, Bouncers, Photographers, Cinematographers, Music Artists, Makeup Artists, Hair Stylists, Bakers, and Decorators.
Will I be trained if I register? Yes, but TBA only trains Models, Aspiring models, and ushers to her working standard to suit a specific job. This means that before a member attends any job, he/she must be trained to meet the job standard if he/she is an aspiring model. We also organize special training for members in batches, but members are to take care of their accommodation and feeding during the training. The date and venue will be communicated on the member notice page or via WhatsApp.
What do I stand to gain as a member? Talent Boat will pay you for every job you deliver, and provide access to online contests, giveaways, casting, pageantry, and auditions. TBA has to promote and secure jobs for members. Members must make it a point of duty to visit notice boards, read email, WhatsApp messages, attend auditions, & Cast for job opportunities.
How often would I be booked? The number of times you get a job is determined by the membership category you opt for, and you must be an active member to enable clients to have access to your full information. Having a professional biography, picture, and video will also increase your chance of being hired by our clients. Note: We don’t force members on clients; they make a selection based on members’ profile details.
Since there are other members, is it possible I could be hired at all? Members are spread across many cities in Nigeria; clients can hire members based on their locations. This means that you will only be booked based on your residence if you stated that you can’t handle outside jobs in your residence, and choosing multiple skills may increase your chances of getting a job. You will get booked as long as you’re available to work, update your profile pictures, and attend our casting or auditions.
Are the times for the events flexible? Yes, times are flexible because clients book members before the official event date. Members will be notified on time, so as to prepare for the job, but if a member can’t make it on the scheduled date, TBA will refund or inform the client to book another person. In most cases, TBA instructs clients to adjust their time to suit requested members if it is not an event.
How do I get paid for a job? Once a client books any of our members for a job, TBA pays 50% after deducting commission as agreed in the contract form and completes payment after execution of the job. The member will collect a job card signed by the client as evidence that the job is completed before requesting the remaining balance.
Is my security guaranteed if I am hired for a job in or outside my residence? Yes, TBA ensures that clients provide adequate security for members (both verified and noncertified), and members are required to sign undertakings to protect them during job execution. We also request the client’s personal details, and in most cases, we invite them to a discussion before sending our members. Talent Boat also sends staff to supervise members. A personal security guard (Police) is also assigned to members if necessary.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
What are the membership requirements? You must have a National Identity Card (NIN), height 5.4 and above, must be above 19 years and not more than 27 years as a model or usher, and must be free from crime. Applicants between the ages of 2 and 17 years are advised to apply as minors and must request approval from parents or guardians.

How many pictures do I need for my profile? All accepted applicants must have at least 12 digital pictures as a Premium member and 6 digital pictures as an Amateur. Warning: Do not apply too much makeup, or else it will be rejected, and non-digital pictures are not allowed except if it is for the verification process.
Where can I snap a digital picture as an Armature member? You can come to our office or go to any photo studio near you. Note: You must make a payment to use any of our approved photo studios near you. Please confirm the exact amount with us before making a payment. Most studios charge between ₦4,000 and ₦10,000 per picture for a standard photoshoot.
Apart from pictures, what else do I need? You will record at least 6 video clips with different attire. You should be fresh-faced, with light makeup, a clean hairstyle or wig as a female, or a clean haircut or style as a male. Choose a nice background for your video. You’re not walking the runway, wear a nice dress. You can wear skinny jeans and a short/ long sleeveless, plain coloured top for a female model; form-fitting jeans and a solid t-shirt for a male model or just wear a simple outfit of your choice, and you have to make a full video of yourself.
What is the format for pictures & videos? Minimum picture size: 513 x 800 (width x height) for portrait and 800 x 513 (width x height) for landscape, while we’d like to get to know your personality and see how you walk, talk, and sit in full-length, with a brief, 30- 60-second video. Warning! Do not attach any signature or studio logo to your pictures or videos.
How can I get my official T-shirt and cap? TBA will deliver it to you on request, on or before going for any job. Note: You will pay a delivery fee if you can’t come to the office to collect the items.
Why is my picture not on the home page? Only randomly selected members who have completed their form as Armature and Premium members are allowed to appear on the home page. Note: Clients can still see all members when they log into their accounts.
What would I do if I lost my password? Request a new password or contact us on WhatsApp. Note: Opening multiple accounts can lead to disqualification or termination of membership, and you will be penalized accordingly.
